Ever been Captured by Cupid’s arrow: Spiritual ecstasy are Signs of Life
Ever been Captured by Cupid’s arrow? Being captivated by Passion and Spiritual ecstasy are Signs of Life; pure unadulterated attraction by the Holy Spirit should not be Condemned, but Celebrated. Today, a front page pictorial in the Wall Street Journal showed how much Christ cares about humanity. Lord knows people who want to marry should not have to pass man-made sanctions. Or perhaps a few Angels are confessing; or maybe human sexuality was never meant to be Tamed or Sacrificed for the sake of Family virtue so Christ is revamping the magisterium to better fit God’s Law of Affection.
According to the Journal report, “Pope Francis married 20 couples in the Vatican; some had cohabited and one woman was a mommy.”[1] Christ was none Judgmental, ever Loving, and always Inviting people to be Christians. To this day God doesn’t ask about our past or current Moral condition; but encourages Marriage and Conformation of character. Connecting the future of our Church through Families is a Sign of Grace that’s sure to ruffle some Imperial Tailoring’s; but let’s be real, there are millions who fled the Church just to be Wed.
“Remember dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes, or powerful, or wealthy when God called you. Instead God deliberately chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And He chose those who are powerless to shame those who are powerful.
God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important, so as no one could ever boast in the presence of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:26-29 NLT)
Do you feel that sex before marriage is or was despised in many societies? How about allowing a Mother to celebrate Holy Matrimony? Is today’s message written to the World alone? Or in conjunction to certain Pious who consider virginity imperative to marriage. That people must be pure or prudent to embrace Freedom of Matrimony. Many folks wouldn’t be single and searching for a marriage partner had they not been raised or taught worldly hang-ups, but instead God’s will for Life.
