When a Son or Daughter shrieks, Life-Saving energy sets into action; a Divine-Exchange is instantly processed and sent via Karma. If the tremor meets an open heart Amazing Grace sets the stage.
When Mary, Christ’s mother, was startled by Angel Gabriel her ambiance shown forth and took over. Her first impression might have been to shun His Grace and hide in Fear. But her precious upbringing held fast until the King-of-Kings was born of Free-Will.
“Then the glory of the LORD appeared to them, and the LORD said to Moses: Take the staff and assemble the community, you and Aaron your brother, and in their presence command the rock to yield its waters. Thereby you will bring forth water from the rock for them, and supply the community and their livestock with water. So Moses took the staff from its place before the LORD, as he was ordered. Then Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly in front of the rock, where he said to them, “Just listen, you rebels! Are we to produce water for you out of this rock?” Then, raising his hand, Moses struck the rock twice* with his staff, and water came out in abundance, and the community and their livestock drank. But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron: Because you did not have confidence in me, to acknowledge my holiness before the Israelites, therefore you shall not lead this assembly into the land I have given them. (Numbers 20:7-12 NABRE)
Moses and Aron, both patriarchs of God, stumbled in Faith. It’s not easy to maintain Confidence and Fidelity when disenchantment lurks. Humans are susceptible to surrounding Sprits, the moods of many sway even the most noteworthy of Prophets. But Mary’s YES was written into eternity with the Birth-of-Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
