God’s Voice; Friendly Persuasion, Divine Intercession or Call-to-Action?
God’s Voice; Friendly Persuasion, Divine Intercession or Call-to-Action? In today’s WSJ an Arc from an Angel urged me to continue last night’s School of the Word reflection. In which Garza shared an intercession with Lecto Divina. God’s word satisfies a souls Thirst-for-Life through Prayer; Luke 11 states: “Seek by reading and you will find by meditating. Knock by Praying and it will be opened to you in Contemplation.” (Verbum Dei School of the Word)
The Journal article reflects Waldo Emerson’s version of prayer, “Men are always asking for guidance, because Prayer is in all Action.”[1] Our Lord knows what people need before they’re Moved-in-Spirit, but until their humbled works reflect His Call-to-Action does their direction unfold. Tales from any crypt can vow for the importance of Prayer, Yours-Truly can promise allegiance from a Friend named Jesus.
When Jesus heard what had happened, he found the man and asked, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” the man answered, “Who is he, sir? I want to believe in him.” “You have seen him,” Jesus said, “and he is speaking to you!” “Yes, Lord, I believe!” the man said. And he worshiped Jesus.
Then Jesus told him, “I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.” Some Pharisees who were standing nearby heard him and asked, “Are you saying we’re blind?” “If you were blind, you wouldn’t be guilty,” Jesus replied. “But you remain guilty because you claim you can see.” (John 35-40 NLT)
Some folks take years to develop Contemplative Prayer, others are Converted overnight by His Living Words and Believe. Consider your works bought and paid for through the Son-of-Man whose reflection is You!
