Today’s idiom is reassuring, taken from our Christ’s parable about Mercy and Forgiveness; the world would be a better place is society could just give folks time to repay what is owed—to excuse Anxiety, Addiction and Trespasses the World needs Love. Then somehow realize we’re all part of God’s bigger picture. It takes kindness to except nickels and dimes now day’s; to forgive seventy-seven times or more takes a Hallowed-Spirit. Even when a soul’s patience is Poked and Prodded beyond the foolishness of human nature there’s a Spirit-Within who won’t let go.

“When David had gone a little beyond the summit of the Mount of Olives, Ziba, the servant of Mephibosheth,^[a^] was waiting there for him. He had two donkeys loaded with 200 loaves of bread, 100 clusters of raisins, 100 bunches of summer fruit, and a wineskin full of wine.  “What are these for?” the king asked Ziba. Ziba replied, “The donkeys are for the king’s people to ride on, and the bread and summer fruit are for the young men to eat. The wine is for those who become exhausted in the wilderness.”

 “And where is Mephibosheth, Saul’s grandson?” the king asked him. “He stayed in Jerusalem,” Ziba replied. “He said, ‘Today I will get back the kingdom of my grandfather Saul.’”  “In that case,” the king told Ziba, “I give you everything Mephibosheth owns.” “I bow before you,” Ziba replied. “May I always be pleasing to you, my lord the king.” (2 Samuel 16:1-4 NLT)

Jesus was ridiculed for being practical and letting folks think he didn’t know their plans, both Good and Bad. It’s God’s job to reveal what is truly Right and Just; He discloses evil in the Midst-of-Divinity. The Holy-One encourages cleansing before Toil and Rest; purging our Body will take time, so to her servants, be still. There’s no escaping the Truth, just let ancient prophecy unfold; alas brethren Chill, Caress and Create an era of Earnest-Transparency before His-Kingdom-Come, Darkness will be undone.
