May Sister Priscilla continue to Serve and Sing Praise in God’s name! It’s exciting to meet and greet new people. And as the Spirit of Fellowship filled our jet’s cabin today, I knew our Lord’s will was being done.
How’s your Communion with Christ hanging? Eager to explore and converse a bit about the coming Pentecost? The Holy Spirit moved through Priscilla, our surprise encounter, encouraging dialogue and onlookers to turn in awe. Scottie, another guest and I were embroidered with her colorful description of Pentecostals. Priscilla’s faith and drive bore witness to Christian Unity; No coincidence here brethren, just His Living Words moving with Grace and Devotion to God.
“Hearing this, a man sitting at the table with Jesus exclaimed, “What a blessing it will be to attend a banquet in the Kingdom of God!” Jesus replied with this story: “A man prepared a great feast and sent out many invitations. When the banquet was ready, He sent His servant to tell the guests ‘Come the banquet is ready.’ But they all began making excuses. One said, I have bought a field and must inspect it. Please excuse me. Another said, ‘I have just bought five pairs of oxen, and I want to try them out. Please excuse me.’ Another said, ‘I now have a wife, so I can’t come.’
The servant returned and told his master what they had said. His master was furious and said, ‘Go quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and invite the poor, the crippled, and the blind, and the Lame. After the servant had done this, he reported, ‘There is still room for more.’ So his master said, ‘Go out into the country lanes and behind the hedges and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full!” (Luke 14:16-23 NLT)
Traveling is a great way to Witness and Welcome new Friends, I wish soul-mate searching was as easy as Proclaiming the Truth. The Reality of this world has made meeting Real-People difficult. Online dating seems awkward to me; like screen-writes with too many characters from which to choose, but none to embrace. In reality, few folks are ready to commit to anything more than a busy schedule will allow. But for the sake of New Converts and Good Works Jesus provides Hope; an everlasting melody of miraculous encounters just waiting to fill His House!
