Righteous Behaviors for our Environment
Years back God insisted we take a deeper look at His natural creations; humanity was put in charge their wellbeing just after the Master’s-Design. It’s taken centuries to enhance the Pillars-of-Protection aimed at protecting the ecosystem. Lord knows society has failed to stop their sinful activities against our environment, many of which have yet to be revealed. Outright War is not an answer but confronting climate-crushers is a start.
There are better ways to caress God’s-Living-Creations; as with all dilemmas we have encountered over the years it is vital to rope-in amoral mindsets. How about we gather the World-Powers in Prayer; asking the Almighty for guidance rather than point blame at polluters who waste billons to research what is already known? Does it matter that scientists disagree on how fast, how it started and how many lives are in danger due to Climate-Change. Christ would not want one life to be lost for the sake of another, why should we? Or are the powers that be too proud to bow together in prayer; kind of blinded by the Light that is in plain sight.
In a recent article in the WSJ, Boost Growth, Rethink Science Funding I found an interesting theory: “The most important discoveries have been made and new insights are more difficult.”[1] Theory or not it’s one of the reasons why society is blinded by too much research and why America lacks productive Life-Saving initiatives; “curiosity-driven research” will not feed the hungry or improve environmental degradation, without the Almighty’s guidance it will only waste resources.
So Abram went up from Egypt to the Negev, with his wife and everything he had, and Lot went with him.
Abram had become very wealthy in livestock and in silver and gold. From the Negev he went from place to place until he came to Bethel, to the place between Bethel and Ai where his tent had been earlier and where he had first built an altar. There Abram called on the name of the LORD.

Abram lived in the land of Canaan, while Lot lived among the cities of the plain and pitched his tents near Sodom. Now the people of Sodom were wicked and were sinning greatly against the LORD. The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.
I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.” So Abram went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he pitched his tents. There he built an altar to the LORD. (Genesis 13:1-18 NLT)
What would an alter to the Lord look like in today’s world? How would countries act in the lands of the Lord? Like Abraham, the heads of state would be in constant collaboration with God’s people thus earning the Trust and Insights awarded to Believers. Those awarded Eternal-Salvation would find answers through the Spirit-of-God and worship together in harmony. Lord knows our future depends upon His Living Words, should our behaviors permit a Transition-to-Prayer.
