A Classroom full of Reasons: for Jesus to Shine!
Guess who’s teaching some Youngins’ about Jesus? That’s right, yours truly has been approved to share bible passages with 1st and 2nd graders. With help from a young Catchiest named Miss Paola, I hope to engage the Holy One’s vigor and vitality for life into their innocence. And just so you won’t feel left out, please help me rate our reader—Heavenly Lord, thank you for giving us the Bible. Which is Your Word to us. It is the written story of Your actions in the world; let me read my Bible stores often. Help me to know You better, Love you more, and get Closer to You!—[1]
I’m ecstatic brethren, right down to the Caps used in print! Imagine Catholic Children having a chance to Know God through reading a Bible. As if Jesus called we all back to His lap, but this time in simple sentences etched into a Bible. I don’t remember if there was a 1st Grade Bible when I was in 1st grade. That being said I’m glad to be a Christian bearing the fruit of Salvation into a handful of Children. Surprisingly enough Friends, readers like the St. Joseph Bible have been in circulation at least since our New Millennium began.
“Jesus told them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, because I have come to you from God. I am not here on my own, but he sent me. Why can’t you understand what I am saying? It’s because you can’t even hear me! For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning.
He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. So when I tell the truth, you just naturally don’t believe me! Which of you can truthfully accuse me of sin? And since I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe me? Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God. But you don’t listen because you don’t belong to God.” (John 8:42-47 NLT)
Admittedly the children’s Bibles look like new, but that will change! I have a chance to promote God at level One. No matter what might have occurred in the past. Transformation takes time and there’s have plenty of Reasons for Jesus to Shine.
While Going Solar has all but shut down at my local Parishes, a bit of Energy Savings did occur this morning when a few volunteers from St. Bede’s in Hayward, Ca.were allowed to replace Standard Light Bulbs for Rebated LED’s; go Jesus!
