Since my spiritual re-birth God used scripture to captivate my thoughts, create an essence of urgency, and be humbled in Him. Early writings took place in the wee morning hours, when people slept, His Spirit awakened me. With shaky hands and restless heart I began reading Proverbs and writing sentences as to what they meant to me, a newcomer in Christ. Admittedly they made little sense til God groomed and graded me through school.

Our Lord’s words and phrases became crystal clear; He lead me to write what came to mind. In those days I was led to books that inspired me to keep reading and writing. The “Left Behind” series, “The Celestine Prophesy,” and a pair of “Funken Wagnel” dictionaries, to name a few. God’s Spirit opened my eyes and I begin to acknowledge others (society).

People, their ethnicity, religious beliefs, plants, animals, and all Creation were highlighted. And I felt as if living another persons dream that was quickly becoming my own. Writing for God soon became a passion and continues to challenge me each day. No topic was or is beyond the realm of Christ to engage. Scripture can answer questions or thoughts that came to mind; as do books and encounters set before me. When I’m truly faithful and ask God for answers the Spirit leads me to them through people, writings, and life itself. To this day wisdom is my lady and Christ my keeper!
