Good-Day brethren in this year of Mercy has Businesses or City and State agencies been Kind to you? Do they even know what MERCY means? Merriam-Webster defines it as such: “Kind or forgiving treatment of someone who could be treated harshly: kindness or help given to people who are in a very bad or desperate situation.”[1] I don’t know your trials but if they include Exuberant fees, Coldhearted workers, and Trickery take heart. Have you tried to get a city or state worker to be Courteous; a store, publisher or gym manager to do what’s Right, or one religious to venerate other beliefs?

There is still time to Change. Lord knows being Tenured to a desk answering email or phone messages for $40,000+ a year can be trying, but having Sentiment can change work Dilemmas. Managers and Administers of policy need to consider different case scenarios, train workers to be Courteous and Just that’s the job God has awarded you; your Good Name is in Public’s Eye along with its Governing party.

Picking up a phone and talking to somebody about fees they will incur before they are implemented is Simple and Just. And if you’re a Business, State or Municipality relying on such Ruthless behavior beware the Holy Spirit’s MERCIFUL insight.

“A psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack. In green pastures he makes me lie down; to still waters he leads me; he restores my soul. He guides me along right paths for the sake of his name.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me. You set a table before me in front of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Indeed, goodness and mercy will pursue me all the days of my life; I will dwell in the house of the LORD for endless days.” (Psalm 23 NABRE)

Lord knows His Messages fall on deaf ears and lifeless souls, but if just One of ye be moved our work is rewarded. Jesus once Recycled a Fig tree not to be Cruel or Coldhearted, but the Tree should have had fruit during that season; thus it was using Water, Nutrients and Space without producing Good Fruit. If you see the parallel in today’s lesson, please pass it on to a Friend or Foe who lacks Loving Mercy.
