Keep clam and know that we are Loved by God: His children need to hear from You!
Keep clam and know that we are Loved by God who created an abundance of Life. This morning I was captivated by an audience of Children. We shared a book about desert inhabitants, insects, wild flowers, and fun on the beach. Our Lord’s gifts surround us every day; giving glory to All Creation is fabulous.
The first graders were filled with Life, Love, and Listening. This morning’s reading was a humbling experience for me. Sitting in the presence of children is was one of the greatest feelings I’ve ever known. Their attentive ears, twinkling eyes, and alert young minds are natural Works of Grace.
“With such affection for you, we were determined to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our very selves as well, so dearly beloved had you become to us. You recall, brothers, our toil and drudgery. Working night and day in order not to burden any of you, we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.
You are witnesses, and so is God, how devoutly and justly and blamelessly we behaved toward you believers. As you know, we treated each one of you as a father treats his children, exhorting and encouraging you and insisting that you conduct yourselves as worthy of the God who calls you into his kingdom and glory.” (1 Thessalonians 2:8-12 NABRE)
Thank goodness for Teachers who speak in Truth, Live, and Enjoy bringing God’s joy to our Youth. Those of you who work with young minds are blessed; please continue to Encourage, Embrace, and Instill the importance of Creation in God’s name.
