Obedience to the Body and Blood
Following the Lord takes LOVE; Learning, Observing, Volunteering and Engaging oneself in the needs of others. Christ was our Savior stood by all His Brothers and Sisters. “ Once He was asked who his kinfolk were, and our Lord replied, everyone who does God’s will”[1] In today’s world who might our brothers and sisters be? Those who discovered the Word-of-God to be Alive and Witnessed in their actions. People giving of themselves to one another without discrimination and joining in wholesome Prayer to Almighty-God.
Jesus looked favorably towards the under-served, children and sinners; encouraging His Disciples to do the same. Today there are Believers-Everywhere; we are discovering new alliances who ask, why God? Our Lord taught why God Loved the Sinner; how the Almighty uses people in all walks of life to develop His-Living-Words on Earth. Christ volunteered His Body and Blood for the sake of Love; blessed are those who Witness in His Name.
When Jesus realized this, he withdrew from that place. Many [people] followed him, and he cured them all, he warned them not to make him known. This was to fulfill what had been spoken through Isaiah the prophet:
“Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom I delight; I shall place my spirit upon him,
and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.
He will not contend or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break,
a smoldering wick he will not quench, until he brings justice to victory. And in his name the Gentiles will hope.” (Mathew 12:15-21 NABRE)
