Our Goodness Excites the Crowds; or Not
Exciting things happen when the Goodness-of-God shines through people with His Living Words. Our Lord is moving Waves-of-Wonders in Big-Beautiful ways; how people react is alone, the Fathers choice. Across the world crowds gather to acknowledge their Faith driven beliefs with personal testimony and experiences of others. Our Lord’s Spirit cannot be detained or predicted or felt without the Saving-Power-of-God. True Salvation requires letting go of fallacies that are embedded in this world at large.
The world is filled with exciting predictions leading people to fictitious means with no end in sight; their euphoria is quickly obtained but short-lived. What is thought to be everlasting and righteous feels spectacular until reality sets in and their beliefs are tested. Most folks detest being tested for truth unless they’ve learned to Lean-on-God through trial and turbulence. Scripture details how everything good comes through the Son; People-of-Faith know this because the Spirit has revealed it to them.
This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Do not let your prophets and fortune-tellers who are with you in the land of Babylon trick you. Do not listen to their dreams, because they are telling you lies in my name. I have not sent them,” says the Lord.
This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.” (Jerimiah 29:8-14 NLT)
Where is our modern-day land of Babylon? Lands reeking of corruption are the Devil’s foothold, their townspeople are easily led into disbelief and fear their prayers will never be heard. God has good things planed for all people, not just His chosen but anyone who turns away from their past and repents in the name of the Jesus the Christ through goodness flows in wonderous deed.
