Prepared to Answer His Divine Request
Respond favorably to the Almighty; the ultimate appeal is ours for the asking. Our Lord is omnipresent responding to petitions all over the universe. We each are heard personally through Spiritual-Yearnings; people naturally hunger and thirst for the Love of God but seldom prepare for it. Instantaneous Adoration is stunning but enduring devotion rocks the heavens into action. Angels and Saints are alarmed by Social-Outcries; dedicated disciples cling to their beliefs and sustain sacrificial undertakings to lessen their obstacles.
Some folks perform decades of notorious deeds and lack pity; others Adore what matters on Earth but don’t understand what God is about; and finally, there are Divine-Servants. God considers every act on behalf of Jesus an appeal worth battling over; Heavenly-Helpers are a rare and we are glad you have visited His Living Words where your livelihood is met with the Unconditional-Flair of Scripture.
Meanwhile, Saul was uttering threats with every breath and was eager to kill the Lord’s followers. So he went to the high priest. He requested letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, asking for their cooperation in the arrest of any followers of the Way he found there. He wanted to bring them—both men and women—back to Jerusalem in chains.
As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?” “Who are you, lord?” Saul asked. And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting! Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
He remained there blind for three days and did not eat or drink. Now there was a believer[b] in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, calling, “Ananias!” “Yes, Lord!” he replied.
The Lord said, “Go over to Straight Street, to the house of Judas. When you get there, ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is praying to me right now. I have shown him a vision of a man named Ananias coming in and laying hands on him so he can see again.” (Acts 9:1-11 NLT)
I would say Jesus answered Saul with an Unconditional-Flare, what do you think? And like most of us Paul wasn’t quite prepared to answer our Lord’s calling. It took a blinding revelation to embellish the Soul-of-Saul; what type of exposure will it take for the World’s remaining outcasts to Follow-the-Way, the Will and the Workings of Yahweh? Rest assured my brethren we are traveling with the Master-of-Conversion who will never surrender His fold.
