Prophets at Pentecost are busy Prepping, Posturing, and Preaching the Good News about to unfold; piercings from the Holy Spirit happen in a mystical moment. Nobody knows exactly what Jesus meant over two-thousand years ago when He said God would send a Spirit after His Ascension. But knowing the Almighty who formed the oceans, atmosphere, plants, animals, and fish out of wet dusty particles was a preview. Christ knew people loved God His Father before He sacrificed His own life; He knew how wavering human beliefs could be, and how quickly our Spirits flicker and fade away.

So Jesus pleaded with His Father to allow His Anointed Spirit to remain accessible. A Spirit that could Fire-up Faith, remain a Freelancer, and invite every form of life into Spiritual Ecstasy. Nobody’s experience of Pentecost is simple and their awakening can take place anytime or place. This weekend’s celebration of Pentecost happens to be a prime-time for Spiritual arousal because millions are chanting Praise and Glory to Jesus, the Son of God. Millions embellish their faith in the Trinity between Father, Son, and Holy Ghost which is what Jesus ordained as Christianity.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith. For the sake of the joy that lay before Him He endured the cross, despising its shame, and has taken a seat at the right of the throne of God.

Consider how He endured such opposition from sinners, in order that you may not grow weary and lose heart. In your struggle against sin you have not resisted to the point of shedding blood. You have also forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons: My son, do not disdain the discipline of the Lord or lose heart when reproved by Him; for whom the Lord loves, He disciplines; He scourges every son He acknowledges.” (Hebrews 12 1-6 NABRE)

A fine Scourge is greater than a lofty gift if in the end a lesson is learned. Of all the riches in this world only Scripture can help save lives. Sacred writings carry the Living Spirit across all nations. The Holy Spirit searches those Tormented by the evils of this world, for they are chosen by God to unlock riches hidden in Sacred Writings.
