About a year ago a short article in the WSJ reminded me of a Trivial conversation I had at the local 24-Hour Fitness gym. The article titled, “Organized Religions: A Framework for Good” peeked my curiosity that morning. The author wrote, “Involvement with the great faith traditions that have withstood the test of time causes people to confront many of our more basic and self-serving INSTINCTUAL feelings for the greater good.”(1) Amen I say, key word being Instinctual to men and women of all walks, all customs, and all colors. Christians make up the Body of Christ, which is our Church. They are made One through Knowing and Believing Christ’s works on earth. Other religions also are made in the likeness of God through their core beliefs, no matter what their affiliation.

That day I shared my weekly Mass experience with a stranger. A question arose as to whether I was Christian or Catholic; “both a Catholic and Christian was my answer;” then I noticed his Cringe. He simply stated he didn’t like the Catholic Pedophile cover-up. Millions who are Baptized Catholic agree with him, including myself. But we are strengthened through faith, a tradition of prayer and forgiveness, which helps to deal with scandals. The man’s point was well taken. Since then the Church has uncovered what failed in the past and Frameworks that need change; let’s call it the “greening of God’s Catholic framework.” RG

“One of His of the disciples, Thomas (nicknamed the twin), was not with the others when Jesus came. They told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he replied, “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in His hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound on His side.”

Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. He said, Peace be with you.” Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands. Put your hand into the wound on my side. Don’t be faithless any longer, believe!” “My Lord and my God,” Thomas exclaimed. Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who haven’t seen me and believe anyway.” (John 20:24-29 NLT)

Not far from the farm are Farmers, not far from the Father is the Son. Not far from the Son is the Holy One; in fact they are One. The three make up a Trinity that is making things better for future Generations. Forgiving those that made mistakes will keep Satan at bay; until changes already taking place take hold prayer is needed. Petition those who fell victim to Satan’s unruly Habitation will be able to get on with their lives. And become pillars of a New Horizon; while letting go of man-made doctrines not as Victims, but as Survivors who believe in the unseen Christ.
