Is the integrity of Christ’s Cross threatening? Does His Crown-of-Thorns bare false witness or is it Truth that frightens rulers into persecuting People-of-Prayer? In this morning’s WSJ journalist Melchior quotes China’s central government: “religions are severe challenges; authorities should see the political issues behind the Crosses.”[1] Loving sacrifice came and went without an Army, Resentment or Revenge only Forgiveness; His name was Jesus who’s Cross bore deliverance for God’s people. There is nothing behind The Cross. It is not a religion at all but a Symbol-of-Freedom offered to those who gather at its foot in Solemn Prayer.

If people see governmental connotations when gazing Christ’s Cross they haven’t Seen, Heard, or Felt its meaning at all. Instead they’ve become tainted by Global-Insecurity brought about by Sinfulness. Rulers create Fear and Governmental corruption; God’s historical writings affirm that in the End-Times certain events will take place before the Prince-of-Peace returns; need we Guess what’s happening now.

“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.” (Romans 12:1-5 NLT)

The Gift-of-God is making waves in areas new to sharing. Allocating Resources, Property, and Economic-Wealth to society rather than Governments is proper and just. Souls long suffering are called to Prayer; their sorrows are recorded and newly transparent; is that the religion Nations fear?
