Tired of the same ole same ole? That’s precisely why I encourage your contribution of Prayer and Vision. Yesterday, a Peace-Tree was planted at the Vatican; Trees are a sign of Vulnerability, Green Peace, and Life. Today’s WSJ ran a story about the gift of Prayer. “On Sunday, Pope Francis, Israeli President Shimon Peres, and his Palestinian Brother in kind Mahmoud Abbas gathered to Pray, Embrace, and Plant a tree.”[1] I urge every one of our followers to imagine themselves part of that same Tree taking root at the Vatican. Each of us praying for Peace and Rooted in Faith; a sign of life and understanding between Brothers and Sisters, Religions, and Nations under God.

Be a Spokesperson for those who yearn to be loved. Jesus has a Sacred heart that weeps, as do many Prophets and Saints who have or had mourned with, “The fears of mothers and fathers etched in their hearts; whose children cry of starvation, isolation, or being orphaned by War.”[1]  None of us will see or hear of God’s return before the next Believer; nor can anyone predict when it will happen. Do we want the Almighty to judge the World as it stands? Give a bit of yourself to a confirmed adversary through today’s insight of Peaceful Negotiations; something new and life-saving for a change.

“The Lord’s acts of mercy are not exhausted, His compassion is not spent; they are renewed each morning, great is your faithfulness! The Lord is my portion, I tell myself, and therefore I will hope in Him. The Lord is good to those who Trust in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to hope in silence for the Lord’s deliverance.

It is good for a person, when young, to bare the yoke, to sit alone and in silence when its weight lies heavy, To put one’s mouth in the dust, there may yet be hope, To offer one’s cheek to be struck, to be filled with disgrace. For the Lord does not reject forever.” (Lamentations 3:22-31 NABRE)

Prayer is all-powerful and humbling. The greatest show of Courage and Faith is to gather differences and ask God for Guidance rather than drawing lines in Stubbornness and Bloodshed. We don’t know how or when each Resolve will take place, but we can read about Historical failures and Victories of Faith; Scripture is full of them. Each day families cry for Treaties of Peace; let us Pray for their petitions to be answered.
