Has this summer been a flurry of Fun-and-Sun; or has the World been picking away at your Good-Will? Our Lord reminds us of the precarious situations brought about by everyday people in awkward situations. Folks outside The-Way feel threatened by Grace; God’s beauty is Electrifying, Mistaken-for-Weakness and Challenging. Who stirs our every encounter? The Holy One reminds us to be merciful yet bold in the Face-of-Mulishness.

There are clear signs leading to dangerous situations, but subtle exposure to Evil is most common. Beware those triggering alternative motive in your House, Work or House-of-Worship. The Evil one is found seeping into every Shadow and Crevice under the sun; however, there is one Safe-Sanctuary that no Serpent can pierce. The Holy Spirit stakes claim for God. His Safe-Haven resides with those who believe in Christ, live in Spirit and practice their Faith.

“Meanwhile, the disciples were in trouble far away from land, for a strong wind had risen, and they were fighting heavy waves. About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water.

When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, “It’s a ghost!” But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here! ”

Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.

Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” When they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped.

Then the disciples worshiped him. “You really are the Son of God!” they exclaimed. (Mathew 14:24-34 NLT)

Every Disciple has their Faith challenged, each stumble per God’s will; in return they are refined accordingly. The challenge, should they choose to except, is long term. Nothing happens by chance or as one would think; for Eternal-Salvation is a continuum of Christ, the Risen-King. Call out and Reach for His Living Words to enlighten those who seek Spiritual-Renewal.
